The website provided by the network marketing companies are called "replicated" websites. They're called this because they are given out or sold to thousands and thousands of company reps.
These sites are usually NOT good for marketing. Search engines hate them because they provide no unique content and web surfers tend to ignore them because after doing a little searching they see dozens of the same sites.
To be successful, your website needs to be constructed in a way that pleases both the search engines and your visitors.
A proper website should capture your visitors attention and compel them to take the action that you want them to take. Unfortunately, the typical replicated website will do neither of these things for you.
These sites are great for capturing orders of your existing customers, and signing up new associates. So if you can afford it and need to perform a useful function don't get rid of that company produced replicated website.
