Mistake #6: Believing that all you need to get filthy rich in network marketing is 3 people...who get 3 people...who get 3 people and so on, and so on...
This is an easy one to fall for, after all, it's logical. I know I've gotten sucked into this failed logic too many times.
I do know this...in all my years in network marketing...I have never met anyone who made it work that easy. Seems easy...seems like it should work...IT DOESN'T!
Here's the problem. This formula sounds great and looks great on paper. In a nut shell here's why. Not everyone will get 3, very very few get a lot, others get a few and most get nothing.
The truth is that network marketing does not fit into a neat little 3 x 3, 4 x 4, or 5 x 5 matrix.
This myth is used as a recruiting tool by people who really don't know what it takes to make it in network marketing, or any business for that matter.
Sooo..do not believe it...not even for a minute.
The real truth is you need 1,000's, not 3 or 4 or 5. That's right you have to sort through 1,000's of people to find 3 or 4 like-minded people with a business building mind set. Notice I said sort through. You don't have to talk to everybody, but you do have to have a system and a series of processes that do the work for you.
Okay. So what, your hopes are still high and we've got work to do...lots of work.
